Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Peptix.io LLC ("Peptix", "we", "us") collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit peptix.io, create an account, place an order, or sign up for emails. Peptix sells research materials for in vitro laboratory research use only and ships only within the United States. Our website is intended for research customers in the United States who are at least 21 years old.
1. Who we are

2. Information we collect
You give us:
- Account information: your email address and password (stored in hashed form) when you create an account, plus any name and address you save.
- Order information: name, billing and shipping address, email, phone number (if provided), the products ordered, order notes, and your confirmation that you are a research customer of legal age and purchasing for in vitro laboratory research use only.
- Payment information: payments are handled by our payment processors. We do not receive or store full card numbers. We receive limited details such as the payment method type, the last four digits, and transaction status. For bank transfers, we receive the payment details shown on the transfer.
- Email sign-ups: your email address and whether you chose to receive marketing emails.
- Former affiliate applicants and affiliates (the program closed on October 17, 2026): name, email, payment and tax information (including IRS Form W-9 details such as your legal name, address and taxpayer identification number), and the websites, social media accounts and other channels you listed, and your description of how you will promote Peptix.
- Messages: what you send us by email or contact forms.
Collected automatically:
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and the referring site.
- Cookies and similar technologies (see section 6).
3. How we use information
- To create and manage your account.
- To process, ship and support your orders, including emailing order confirmations and a tracking link when your order ships.
- To send the welcome email with your one-time first-order code after you create an account. This is a service email tied to your account.
- To send marketing emails, only if you opted in (see section 5).
- To settle remaining affiliate credit for former affiliates and meet tax reporting obligations (for example, Form 1099 where required).
- To verify age and research-use attestations, prevent fraud and abuse (including duplicate accounts used for offers), and protect our site.
- To keep business, tax and accounting records and comply with law.
4. How we share information
We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the store and only for that purpose: website hosting and email delivery, payment processors, shipping carriers and label services, our affiliate-tracking software, and bot-protection services. We may also share information to comply with law or legal process, to protect our rights or prevent fraud, or as part of a sale or reorganization of our business. If you were referred by an affiliate, the affiliate does not receive your name, email or address from us.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. Marketing emails and unsubscribing
When you create an account, you can choose to receive Peptix marketing emails and reminders about items you left in your cart by ticking the box. The box is optional on My Account. To get the welcome code from the pop-up, you must subscribe to marketing emails. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email or by writing to support@peptix.io. Order, account and welcome-code emails are transactional and are sent regardless.
Our welcome offer is available to people who subscribe to marketing emails; the code remains valid if you later unsubscribe.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
We use:
- Essential cookies for the shopping cart, checkout, login and security, including the cookie that records that you passed our research-customer confirmation, so you aren't asked again on every page.
- Order attribution cookies (WooCommerce) that record how you arrived at our site (for example, the referring website or campaign) and attach that to an order.
- Affiliate referral cookies (AffiliateWP) that were set when you clicked an affiliate link, for up to 30 days. The affiliate program closed on October 17, 2026, and these cookies no longer result in credit.
- Bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile) on forms, which may process your IP address and browser data to tell people from bots.
We do not currently use third-party analytics or advertising pixels. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but the cart, checkout and research-customer confirmation may not work without essential cookies.
7. Research customers and minors
Our site is intended for research customers who are at least 21 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 21. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.
8. Retention
We keep order and transaction records for as long as needed for tax, accounting and legal purposes (generally up to 7 years). We keep affiliate tax records for as long as tax law requires, and records of the program and its closure notices for at least 6 years. We keep account data while your account is open, and marketing preferences until you unsubscribe. We delete or de-identify other data when it is no longer needed.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your choices and rights
You can update your account details in My Account, unsubscribe from marketing at any time, and ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information by emailing support@peptix.io. We may need to keep some information to complete orders or meet legal obligations. Depending on your state of residence, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws. We will honor those rights where those laws apply to us.
California residents: we do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.83).
Nevada residents: we do not sell covered information as defined in NRS 603A. You may still send a request to support@peptix.io.
11. United States only
Peptix operates in and ships only within the United States, and your information is processed in the United States.
12. Changes
We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with a new "Last Updated" date and, for material changes, notify account holders by email.
